Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

The purpose of this program is to reduce the number of babies born with FASD and to support children who are diagnosed with FASD and their families to improve their quality of life.

To this end, the Health Center’s community health nurses and family support workers will:

Provide information sessions related to drug and alcohol use during pregnancy and the risks associated to FASD.

Provide effective prevention activities and services such as Parents and Tots, prenatal classes, etc.
